Halmer Grange Guesthouse Terms and Conditions

• Reservations can be made by phone, letter or email.  We would be grateful if you could confirm your arrival time when booking. Last check in time is 9pm unless by prior arrangement
• Credit Cards: Due to the high charges imposed on us by the credit card companies we may add 3% to bills paid by credit cards and 50p for debit cards. This surcharge is only a percentage towards their charges.
• Smoking: Halmer Grange is a totally non smoking establishment but we do allow smoking outside in the garden.
• Check-in / out: Check in from 3.30pm on the day of arrival and check out by 10.00am on your final day. If you have any alternative requirements we will try and assist if at all possible.
• Deposit: A deposit equal to the cost of the first night's stay may be payable at the point of booking. For House Parties a deposit equal to 50% of the total cost is payable at the point of booking with full payment required 7 days prior to the date of arrival. Deposits are non-refundable.
• Cancellation: Should you need to cancel, any deposit paid is non- refundable. Cancellation within 14 days of arrival will incur a charge equal to the cost of the first nights stay or the whole stay if you cancel within 72 hours of arrival. Your debit / credit card details will be securely held and in the event of cancellation or non-arrival your card will be debited for the cost of your full stay.
• Special Diets: Should you have any special dietary requirements please let us know prior to your arrival and we will aim to cater for this.
• Sorry we do not allow pets

Directions

• We have assumed you will be coming from York, Malton and Pickering before heading towards Whitby on the A169.
• After approx 7 miles you will pass by The Hole of Horcum, Saltersgate Bank and then Fylingdales Early Warning Radar station will be on your right hand side. Just after this you will go down a hill and over a small bridge, as you come up the hill after the bridge you take the first road on your left signposted Goathland.
• You need to stay on this road for approx 2 miles, you will come to a church on your right, at the roundabout turn right, the Mallyan Spout Hotel will be on your left and immediately after the church on your right there is an unmade road, turn right down this road and follow it to the bottom where you will find us.
